  NSL 4-Way Scramble Added to the Lineup for the Boogie Weekend!!

I have been working with Kurt Gaebel of the National Skydive League to organize a 4-way scramble as a fun and friendly form of competition for anyone wanting to participate during the boogie. Kurt is working to get some of the best RW flyers and coaches in the sport to be part of the event as fourth team mates on each team. The team drawings will be Saturday night after Kurt hosts his own seminar on RW competition and how collegiate jumpers can get into it. The scramble will be on Sunday morning and should be a great way for the collegiate jumpers at the boogie to get some good practice and serious coaching from some of the world's best. 

Deland Hybrid is Joining Forces with Stetson Skydivers for the Back-to-School Boogie

Deland Hybrid, a 4-way + camera FS and VFS competitive team, will be hosting a FreeFly boogie the same weekend as the Back-to-School Boogie at Skydive Deland. They will be hosting an informational seminar on Saturday morning about the disciplines of vertical flying that all boogie attendees are invited to attend for free! WOOHOO HURRICANE PARTY

We're here in Deland, FL about two hours from our date with Fay. So far we have only seen some light rain and some gusts of wind every once in a while but according to the radar and news reports, we will start seeing bad weather sometime this evening. CLASSES AT STETSON ARE CANCELLED TOMORROW! I will be working tonight at Half Times downtown upstairs on the bar with Jess so come in and have a So-Co Hurricane or play some pong with $1 Fill-Ups.
